Georgina Knight
Children’s Mental Health Specialist
Registered Occupational Therapist (RCOT)
With over 15 years of experience in school, community, and healthcare settings, I specialise in supporting children and teenagers with emotional, behavioural, and social communication challenges. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner with extensive experience in CAMHS, I provide psychosocial interventions, individual therapy, group work, and advocacy for young people and their families.
With 1 in 3 people developing mental health issues by their mid-20s, early intervention is crucial for young people. Timely support can lead to positive health outcomes, helping them realise their potential and reduce the risk of future mental health disorders.
At Empowering Youth Therapies, I am committed to delivering effective support that truly makes a difference. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), my goal is to empower young people to lead meaningful lives. I recognise that seeking help can feel daunting, and I am here to provide guidance for you and your family.
